I had a great birthday! I woke up tired (still am tired), but feeling fine. No hangover. Water and food really do help.
The people who I cared most about coming, came. I wore a blow-up snake around my neck for a good portion of the night. My mom sent it to my sister to try and scare me with. I didn’t scream, but others did. Sssssnakey was a hit. I left him at the bar and apparently some random guy was wearing him when the last of the party left.
I got some good prizes… a good butcher knife (finally!), an apron, water filtering system thing, the new Harry Potter(!), and also this cute little penguin made from a gourd from the Art Institute. I named him Wilbur and I’m calling him a gourdament. Tomorrow night is fancy dinner night.

I really want to go home and sleep, but it’s a co-worker’s last day, so we’re going for drinks. We get to leave at 4 for this, but it’s just not coming fast enough. Home, relax, then to Boyfriend’s is all I want to do!
