Friday I didn't feel like being out late, but lo and behold, we made a friend at the bar and didn't get home until 1am.

Saturday was CORN FEST. Oh guys, there were so many amazing people there- many toothless, some pregnant teens, it was like one big trailer park. delightful! It was free corn all day and unfortunately one in our group saw someone take a bite and then dunk back into the melted butter tub.

The corn eating contest was pretty much everything I was hoping for. I only downed 3.5 ears in 5 minutes- the winner got 6 or 7 down. I swear though, they were giving me really big ears. Boyfriend should be posting the pictures later this week, so I'll either post or link to the awesomeness.

Pal and her BF from New Zealand are in town, so Gretl, Boyfriend and those 2 hung out on my porch on Saturday night. I decided to down too much vodka too quickly and ended up on my floor, again. I really honestly need to stop doing that. Like the alcohol wasn't affecting me at all and then all of the sudden BOOM, I'm sick and there's Boyfriend, trying to pick me up off the floor. Classy. I will get better. No more of this silly business.

Yesterday we all just napped all day. It was lovely.
