For the second time in one month, I saved a centipede. I was better prepared this time-- I opened my back door and the screen door so I could immediately toss the empty cookie box onto my porch that held the scary, scary centipede.

I also saw a dog on the lam yesterday. He was super, super cute, but incredibly scared. He had tags, so I know he belongs to someone. I think I found his parents on craigslist today, so I let them know where to look for him. I know his name now, so if I see him again, maybe he'll come to me. I feel so bad for the pup, he had such sweet eyes and I'm sure just wants to be at home. I feel so bad for lost animals.

I spoke to Gretl on Sunday. It was her birthday. She was sitting on the beach in Mexico, having a drink. It sounded wonderful.
