Title of the Piece: oh hi! Painted at 5:19 p.m. on 2008-05-27
Camping in mid-May in the Midwest is a complete toss-up. We ended up going on a weekend that was supposed to be nice, but turned out chilly. Boyfriend and I were going to “break in” our tent, but it was too damn cold. I was a bit disappointed. Oh well, we have many more weekends to camp and break ‘er in. We did get to go on a hike, which was nice. The bugs swarmed my head again, but once we met up with the other campers, I realized that they were swarming their heads, too. Apparently the bugs just love me so much that they don’t even bother Boyfriend. He took some pictures of me that I kindly requested he retake because I looked so unhappy in them—the bugs were bothering me, so I was mad at them and swatting them away. This past weekend was one of my brother’s HS graduation. We had some assholes behind us that talked the whole time, one was kind enough to answer his phone. Granted graduations aren’t the most exciting events, but come on, be a little decent and shut your pie hole for a couple of hours. I found out some upsetting news about my other brother who went to rehab last year. Apparently he was addicted to something even worse than any of us knew and he was homeless for a bit. It makes me so sad to even think about it. He only told our dad, who told us, but since my brother hasn’t told us we can’t talk to him about it. I guess he’s doing well. Hmm, when a friend’s sister was going to through something similar, I told her she should write a letter to her sister… I’m going to take my own advice and do that right now for him. Ok, letter is done. I’ve started to look for new jobs and I’m excited about it. This round I know it will be helpful if I have a list of my daily activities written down, what I mean by optimizing campaigns, etc. All the basic questions they’ll probably ask about my resume. I hope something works out soon… Starts with a Brush then comes a stroke. Squeaky - 2009-06-17 |
