I'm this much of a dork-- I'm going to write about cheese. So, my mom finally got The Boyfriend and I to try the little mexican grocery store in our neighborhood. I'm not sure about in other cities, but sometimes our smaller ethnic stores tend to lack in the freshness department. But, my mom swore this one was different-- she was right. So right. Now, yellow and orange bell peppers are a regular part of my salad because they're so cheap there. Like .69/lb vs $1.99 for one at the bigger stores. Anyway, the other day I spotted feta for... $2.99/lb. That's right, $2.99/lb. I got a 1/2 lb and it is so good. Another treat for my salads! I never knew I'd get so dorkily excited over food prices.

Also, my bowling team is in first place. I don't expect it to last, but it's nice to be on top. OH god, speaking of bowling-- I got a hambone last week!! In the 9th/10th frames! My first turkey, let alone hambone ever!! very exciting. (hambone=4 strikes in a row) I was shaking going for my turkey and shaking even more going for my hambone.
